Gauteng MEC for Education Panyaza Lesufi outside the Curro
Roodeplaat School on June 18, 2015 in Pretoria, South Africa. Lesufi
says he's furious and deeply disgusted following a video showing pupils
from the school being separated according to race while on a school
outing. In February this year the same school was found to have
separated pupils according to race in classrooms.
The move is seen as an attempt by the MEC to force the
closure of the school after its latest racism row, threatening on Friday
to “shake” the schools foundation and reiterating that this time the
school had “crossed the line,” the
Saturday Star reported.
“There will never be an inch of racism that will happen under my watch,” the MEC said.

Asked if he was considering legal action against the school, the MEC would only say, “watch this space, according to the report.
According
to the paper, the MEC is next week set to meet with the schools
multimillion funders – the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) and the
Old Mutual Investment Group SA through its Schools Fund, in a bid to
persuade both investors to cut ties with the school.
